Sukhoi and Indonesian airline sign $951 mln deal on 30 Superjet 100s

According to Sukhoi.Superjet100.com - Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) and an Indonesian regional carrier Kartika Airlines have finalized an order for 30 SSJ100/95B aircraft. The deal is valued at 951mln. USD at current list prices.

The contract signed by the president of SCAC Vladimir Prishyazhnyuk and the CEO of Kartika Mr. Kim Johanes Mulia confirms the earlier intention of Kartika to buy SSJ100 jetliners. The Heads of Agreement announced in Jakarta in December 2008 included 15 aircraft and 15 as an option. The document sealed today incorporates all 30 aircraft as a firm order with the delivery schedule planned for 2012-2015.

With this new right-sized aircraft we can develop and serve more point-to-point destinations with obvious operational efficiency and unsurpassed comfort for passengers' - stated the CEO of Kartika Mr. Kim Johanes Mulia Jiauw.

Superjet-100 is a family of medium-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi in cooperation with U.S. and European aviation corporations, including Boeing, Snecma, Thales, Messier Dowty, Liebherr Aerospace and Honeywell.
